Consett is a historic bustling town in the heart of the Tyne Valley situated 15 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne and only 14 miles from Durham. It is the perfect base for a rural get away with great days out in Northumberland. Whether it s a bit of Hogwarts magic at Alnwick Castle or a trip to the Metro Centre when you return for the day you can unwind in the onsite facilities. Leisure facilities: shared residents pool spa sauna and well-equipped gym available. Outside: shared grounds perfect for al fresco dining. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. Additional info: highchairs available from reception. Location: bar and restaurant on site. Pubs cafes and restaurants 3 miles. Arrival: 4pm. The accommodation is a beautifully restored cottage with all rooms on the ground floor offering TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 zip-and-link twin (that can be made into a king-size upon request).
